About Grumpy & Hunter
A grandfather, a grandson, and a shared love of bricks
Grumpy Block Hunter is an independent brick-building business based in Salisbury, New Brunswick, Canada. Behind the name is Jay, a collector and parts seller, and the shared building adventures that inspired Grumpy and his grandson Hunter.
Our cartoon duo brings that grandfather-and-grandson connection to life, complete with quick wit and matching checkerboard shoes. The characters are part of our own growing world of building, collecting and creative activities.
Here you can read practical sorting and identification guides, browse individual LEGO parts and minifigures through our BrickLink and Brick Owl stores, and find Grumpy & Hunter printable colouring books for ages 5–9. Short cartoon adventures are still in development.
Our aim is simple: help you spend less time hunting for pieces and more time enjoying what you build. Have a question or an idea for a guide? Use the contact form; we would like to hear what you are working on.
